On Akemi's 1st Halloween, KidsKlub had a Halloween parade. Akemi dressed up as a purple butterfly. It was really hot at daycare since there were tons of people for the parade. I was amazed to see so many parents take time off to spend time with their kids.
Akemi's group, the Kangaroos, were the first group in the parade. Unfortunately the parade was around nap time, so Akemi was very sleepy. Jonathan was a proud papa, carrying his little butterfly around a circle.
Akemi came home with lots of treats (crackers, stickers, bubbles). She loves bubbles. Jonathan would blow a HUGE bubble and Akemi will squeal and start flapping her arms like a bird and reaches over to pop it. It's pretty funny to watch. We were debating on getting her a bubble machine for xmas or birthday. =)
