I'm finally going back to work after a 5 day long weekend. Initially I was fine with the long break but as Monday rolled around, I started getting bored. I kept wondering is this what it would feel like during my maternity leave? I was getting cabin fever and was bored out of my mind. There's only so much errands, house cleaning, re-arranging, and movies to watch. I started to feel myself get dumber....
So I'm going to try to learn Sudoku and find myself a good book to read before the baby arrives. The great thing about this 5 day weekend was it allowed Jonathan and I to bond more. Not get sappy, but I never thought love can grow any more. I always thought my love for Jonathan was HUGE...but it's weird to feel it grow each day. ok maybe I'm not making any sense...but it's little things he does...like how he mentioned on our 20th anniversary, he wants to throw a small get together with friends at the Pasadena Museum of History again, with a live band, latern lightings, and good food/drinks. I'm like 20th anniversary? It's so far away but to him it's only a few years from now.
Or just little things like watching him put the nursery room together. It's cute watching him curse at the curtains as he struggles using one hand to nail in the hooks. And then when he's done, he screams proudly 'I'm done!!!'. I took a picture of it and will post it later.
We have one more month till our baby arrives. I'm trying not to count but I can't help it! I can't wait!!!
Ok, I'm off to bug Jonathan to stop playing his Wii. =)

It's my Birthday! YaY!
I took the day off today to sleep in and have a 'Karen's Day'. I went an put a deposit down for Daycare and went to my bi-weekly doctor's appointment. Everything is going well with the baby and I'll be going to the doctor's every week starting in Jan.
The doctor didn't recommend that I work till my due date. She said it's best if I took 2 weeks off and started 'nesting'. I was like...er..I can't stay home for 2 weeks without doing anything...but bumm around. She said it'll get harder for me to walk around and I'll get tired. I guess I'll see how it goes.
My rest of the day was spent xmas shopping but I only lasted for 2 hours and had to head home. I was too tired from standing and walking around. I did put the xmas decoration up. =)
For dinner we went to Raymond's Restaurant. It was pretty good. The restaurant looked like an old house. Jonathan got me a 'HUGE Flower arrangement'. I'll post it once I download the pic off my camera..
alright...gotta get some sleep..we have all day Lamaze class tomorrow.

What a week!
Jonathan and I had a great Baby shower this past weekend. We were so blessed to have all of our friends there. I just wished we had more time to hang out with everyone and catch up on life. It's amazing how time flies in general.

Okidoki...I would write more but I seemed to have caught my cold back...or it never went away.... so I'm heading off to bed.
This Thursday we're starting our first baby class 'Infant basic care' and this weekend is Lamaze class. Fun fun fun...

Where's the wedding ring?
So yesterday morning started off with Jonathan scrambling around the house looking for his wedding ring. He apparently took it off the night before as we were eating tangerines on our coffee table and placed it with all the peels. Of course, being a great wife as I am 'wink', I cleaned up his little mess and threw it out. How was I suppose to know that his wedding ring was under the pile of tangerine peels.
So the next morning as he's scrambling around the house, retracing his steps, we came to the conclusion that his wedding ring is in the dumpster. Unfortunately Monday is trash day and the guys come in early to take the dumpster outside. Luckily, the dumpster was still on the street. I can imagine Jonathan peering over finding our trash bag.
In the end, as he rummage through the trash, he found the ring. I just couldn't help but laugh at the whole situation. It so like my Jonathan to do something like that. =D
Other news, I found out that Illini is in the Rose Bowl! How awesome is that? We haven't been to the Rose Bowl since 1984. Unlike any avid fan that have been following the team since season started (aka Tricia), I'll be watching the game on my couch. =)
